Jolene Ryan, founder of Share This Little Light Foundation, was born and raised in a small town in Pennsylvania and moved to the big city at age twenty to explore what the world had to offer her.  New York City as beautiful as it was, was a beast, but a beast that she one day loved.  She started her career in the food and beverage industry and became a certified sommelier. She quickly created a life for herself in Jersey City, New Jersey and lived there for a decade.  Tired of the hustle and bustle she moved south to Arlington, Texas; Share This Little Light Foundation's home base. 

During 2020 she found herself looking for ways to help those dealing with mental health issues due to the feelings of isolation created by being in quarantine. She wanted to reach out and let people know that "they are not alone, we are not alone".  we need to get back to basics and reach out to our friends and family on a personal and more tangible level.  She was inspired by the warm glow of candle light and found a way to help others connect with each other by sharing their light.  This idea expanded to Share Your Little Light and the foundation was born.  Through our website you can purchase our "this little light" candle and we will send it personalized to whoever you choose.  By sharing our inner lights we can help each other shine through our darkest moments together and never feel alone.  "One candle can light a room, imagine what millions can do."  Jolene lives in Texas with her husband, Ron and two dogs, Biggie & Oliver James.
